I think that what really resonates for me in this image is that the traditional library is still the heart of library 2.0. Libraries have always been trying to bring together people and information using whatever the contemporary technologies are. Web 2.0 offers us some wonderful tools to do just this. And libraries offer a well-developed understanding of ways to organize, find, and understand information. We're also especially well-informed regarding issues like the ethical use of information, privacy issues, ownership, access, copyright, preservation, etc. It's a dynamic process and an area of ongoing social development. Just like it has always been.
